Rand Paul, the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, told "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan" that while he would "prefer not to have troops" in Portland, Oregon, he believes "there is a role if the states will not step up." He said he had not yet been briefed on the Trump administration's plans in Portland.
